Subject: Fauna long gone
A very interesting historic piece. Points out that the Mysore Forest laws did not allow anyone to enter the forest except for the purpose of hunting with a gun ! Notes the presence of tigers within 25 miles of Bangalore. Tigers in Closepet (Ramanagaram), Bidadi and Magadi are also noted.
